Strike Brewing Company in collaboration with Drake’s Brewing Company Cosmik Debris Hazy DIPA

Hello everyone and Happy Hump Day! Jack from The Intoxicated Review writing to you today and according to my watch…

Today’s beer is a collaboration beer between Strike Brewing Company and Drake’s Brewing Company. Cosmik Debris is a brand new hazy DIPA. I was fortunate enough to get to taste this brand new beer when it first came out, but for some reason didn’t write about it ’till now. This beer is brewed using the Neo-Mexicanus varietal Zappa hops and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

BREWERY:

Strike Brewing Company and Drake’s Brewing Company

APV:

8.2%

THE SHEET:

Hops: Zappa

THE POUR:

Well, it looks like we have ourselves another glass of what looks like fruit juice. This hazy beer definitely lives up to its title. The beer is completely opaque and has a head that forms briefly at three eighths of an inch.

THE AROMA:

There is a quite juicy aroma coming from this beer. I can smell citrus and tropical fruits. There is a hint of hop aromas, but it is very subtle.

THE FLAVOR:

This is a delicious beer! It is incredibly smooth and has tons of flavor. Up front I could taste citrus and tropical fruit juices with only a hint of hops. On the back end there is a smooth and juicy finish to this beer.

THE BODY:

Despite the opacity and fruit juice appearance, this beer is quite easy to drink. I, therefore, rate the body if this beer at medium heavy, but more towards the medium end.

OVERALL:

This is a delicious beer and I highly recommend it! With brewers like Strike and Drake’s at the helm, how could you go wrong?

Well friends, thank you for reading today and everyday. I’ll be back again soon with more beer!

Jack
